TEACHER IN RESIDENCE

Rooms with a view

Visitors from Kenya

It was flattering that our school was chosen again by a Kenyan delegation making a study visit in Europe. The group of educational decision makers wanted to see good practice in the field of ICT integration.

I showed our visitors our Teacher Aid project and my colleague Ann Vermeiren gave a very nice presentation about her eTwinning projects. Our Kenyan guests also visited a French class where my colleague Marie-Leet Bens was working with her students and using ICT to connect to a foreign partner school. The students were happy to answer the many questions of the guests.

Our school can be proud about the 21 st century view about education. We are also very lucky to have good and well mantained equipment.

In the future our school will be connected to a school from Kenya.

A school without walls is a warm school. A school without walls lifts you out of mediocrity.
