Rooms with a view
The previous days the time of my life took place in Rome. I had been invited by European Schoolnet to give 2 presentations about innovative teaching and ICT-integration.
Two days in a row I contributed to a programme of speakers dealing with ICT-innovation on the level of the classroom, the school organization and the relation with the community outside school.
The first day of the conference took place in our wonderful hotel Giustiniano, very close to St. Peter’s Square. We got some nice feedback after the presentations and I especially liked the acqua frizzante sound of the corridor discussions in between the sessions.
After the first conference day we made a nice walk with the group of presenters and organizers in the beautiful city of Rome and we enjoyed the warm evening sun. Later on we were treated with a nice Italian meal…
The day after we went to another, even more prestigious venue, Roma Eventi Conference Centre, close to Piazza di Spagna and its marvelous stairs. On day one we had had teachers and headmasters in the audience. Now we spoke for decision makers from all over Italy and Europe.
In Rome I visited rooms full of people with a vision and a mission. I want to go back to this city.
